Field Hockey is a fast paced game which demands a great deal of endurance and a lot of quick explosive multi-directional movements. Center of Gravity management is also a key part of the sport, that when fully understood and executing properly, can be a game changer on the field.
How would you, or your young athlete, like to be the hockey player who dominates on the pitch, always gets to the ball first, has a big presence and makes an impact in games? Explosiveness creates more space and gives athletes more time on the ball. It helps them burst past players & make interceptions with improved first step quickness. It also allows them to hit, flick & stick more powerfully.
